10 Massages you might want to try (Part 2)

Continuing our list of Top 10 massages you might want to get, below numbers 6 - 10.

6. Hot Stone massage is one of the newer forms and despite it youth, Hot stone massage has gained popularity very fast and if you have tried it, I am sure you will agree that it is quite effective. This technique involves as the title would suggest, hot stones (heated to around 60 Celsius).

7. Deep tissue massage is in many ways quite similar to Swedish massage with pressure applied to the body as various strokes are made during the process. What makes the Deep Tissue technique slightly different is that even more pressure is applied. This technique should not be too painful but if in doubt, check with a practitioner or your doctor first.

8. Chinese - the traditional form is Tui na and this technique involves many of the techniques one would associate with Chinese Medicine. The acupuncture points on the body are incorporated into this style.

9. Acupressure is another Chinese Medicine related form of massage and as the name would suggest, a combination of pressure mixed with acupuncture points is the basis for this fine form.

10. Bespoke. Many couples enjoy massage together and you can take pieces of all styles i.e. mix and match, to find your own style. Why not experiment with pieces of the different techniques, including using chocolate as an oil. Have fun.
