and Helo Sauna heater suppliers. There are also certain considerations
which need to be made. Below is info on some of the main sauna
heater producers, and lower down some FAQ
about electric sauna heaters.
Harvia

steel and the Harvia heaters usually come with air-circulation

producing an even temperature.

2003, Vico were bought out by Scandia health Systems in Idaho,

a 'Sauna Kit' like the ones sold by Scandia. Sauna kits include

in 2 pieces which can be put together within a few minutes.

no electricians and no mess.
FAQ
about electric sauna heaters.
What type of stones can be used on the heaters?
Stones made of materials such as incluperidotite, olivine
and olivine-dolerite can be good. You can usually buy these
stones as accessories from sauna sellers. The stones themselves
will ideally be as heavy, dark in colour, and as large in
size as possible. This will enable the heat to be stored to
preserve the energy.
What should be considered when choosing the power of
a heater for a sauna room?
Acceptable heat insulation on the walls and ceiling of
the sauna room are important. The sauna's wall materials
(i.e. if it is made of concrete, logs, glass, tiles, brick,
glass or bricks) will need a powerful enough heater and
enough time to heat the sauna up. The bigger the sauna also,
the more powerful the heater will need to be. Thus, when
buying a sauna heater,
be aware of what material your sauna is made of, and be
aware of the sauna size.
What should I particularly be careful of with the heater?
You should ensure combustible materials are kept at least
the minimum distance from the heater - as detailed by the
heater supplier. Read manufacturer provided information carefully.
