Sauna accessories - Ladles, buckets, instruments, lighting, soapstone, towels, scents and essences

There are many accessories for saunas and hot tubs, which are on the market, thus below we try and highlight some of the main things you may want to buy for your sauna.

Ladles and Buckets

One of the first accessories I would suggest buying for your home sauna are a couple of ladles and a bucket. Ladles for your saunaThese items are cheap but extremely useful, when you need to add some water to the sauna. I would not personally worry too much about any brand name considering the basic use of these items. The Sauna Shop is one good place for buying these items if buying online. You can expect to pay about £20 ($35) for a wooden bucket and £10 ($15) for a wooden ladle.

Sauna instruments

There are some instruments that you should consider buying for your sauna, to make your wellness and relaxation Thermometer for a saunaexperience a fuller one. Consider buying a thermometer for your sauna; a sauna clock and a sauna egg-timer. All of these instruments are fairly cheap but extremely useful. These items are quite cheap. Expect for example to pay about £10 ($15) for an egg-timer, about £30 ($45) for a thermometer and about the same amount for a sauna clock.

Sauna Lighting

Sauna lighting can make a huge difference to your sauna experience for many reasons. First of all, it is safer to be in a sauna which is correctly lit: You don't want to be walking into the heater for example.Lighting If you were to slip or trip in a sauna it could be quite dangerous. Good lighting can also add to the mood of the experience, with lights available which create multi-coloured lighting, textured lighting etc. Sauna lighting prices can vary greatly thus for a home sauna you may wish to stick with simply lighting.

Sauna Doors

It may seem odd, but doors can make quite a bit of difference to your sauna experience, thus you may want to consider what type of door you want. Door quality can vary quite a lot, with sauna doors often experiencing a lot of stress, because the doors are opened frequently and because the Sauna doorshinges etc must be okay for the heat and humidity on the inside. It is also necessary to have a door handle which is firm and simple to use, and which is unaffected by extreme heat.

You also need to consider the experience in terms of light. What i mean by this is that it can be very nice to have a window in the door, so that you can look out sometimes. Similarly, the door itself should perhaps look nice and wood doors often give this effect. The door should also fit well, so that not too much heat is lost.

Soap stones, towels, scents, stones, and essences.
